We have an exciting year in the Art department at Sprayberry High School, Starting with a student teacher that has much to teach with different ideas that will blow your mind. Does using Kool aid as a medium work for you?

Ms. Yoo recieved a 4 from the college board on her art portfolio. She has substituted here before and is still technically a sub still. she worked with special needs classes in the 600 hall. It was here that she discovered the art room and looked around. She decided that Sprayberry is where she wanted to be. She wishes to aquire the more effective teaching skills during the period she student teaches at sprayberry.

GHP candidates for sophomores and juniors in the spring.
AP art will be working at college level and will need to have 12 quality art pieces by the end of the semester that are “portfolio worthy.”
Comprehensive art will be working on the basic elements and prinicples and are currently working on still lifes. they just finished their duck still lifes
Pottery throughout the semester will learn how to make spirit houses, egyption canoptic jars, and surreal masks from Ms. Yoo.
Ms.Yoo will be here until December 2.

Ap art is going full swing in working on their portfolios. they are now working on self portrait paintings and pen and ink drawings of a famous role model.
new moon the movie is coming out this month as well as where the wild things are.

The self portraits are just about done and we are moving on to still lifes. nothing interesting is coming out in the literature world, but hopefully, soon the vampire fanatics will pass and we can move on to a more interesting topic.
