    Avenged Sevenfold topped the charts with their latest album, Nightmare, putting Eminem in second place!

    Selena Gomez’s newest album, A Year Without Rain, debuting on September 21st. The track listing has just been announced, and it includes the song “Rock God” co-written by Katy Perry.

    Linkin Park has announced that the official video for their new hit single “The Catalyst” will debut August 26, 2010 through MTV.

  3. Well, we all knew it was coming: Justin Beiber launched his first line of products. Shockingly enough for some, it was…nail polish? Yeah, that’s what I thought immediately after I stopped laughing.

    “With shades like One Less Lonely Glitter (lavender), Prized Possession Purple (grape), Give Me the First Dance (silver) and Me + Blue (dark blue), the first six colors in the line for Nicole by OPI will be sold exclusively through Wal-Mart retail stores in December 2010.” – Jill Serjeant, a reporter.

    So name each color after one of your songs. Gosh you are so creative!

    I guess everyone has to start somewhere though. Why be like all the other generic artists and have a clothing line? He obviously knows that nail polish is much more trendy and unique than a mere clothing line.

    Point one for Justin Beiber.

    November 22 – My Chemical Romance released their fourth studio album, Danger Days: The True Lives of Fabulous Killjoys. It is different from their previous albums and has a more “pop” sound to it. One single they released from the album, “Na Na Na”. The music video premiered on MTV on October 14, 2010. The video was co-directed by Roboshobo and Gerard Way and features comic book author Grant Morrison.

  8. Metallica, Slayer, Antrhax and Megadeth, the big four, have set an April 23rd date for their one-time only US concert (as of yet) and are playing in California.

    The White Stripes, a two-man-band, have recently broken up.
