  1. Sprayberry High School has always had many different clubs. These clubs are a great way for people to get involved and interact with different types of people. Every club is sponsored by a different teacher. Due to the loss of Dr. Lynch and Mrs. Nichols, many of Sprayberry’s trademark clubs are in need of new Sponsors. Thankfully, many teachers have picked up many of Dr. Lynch and Mrs. Nichols clubs and activies, keeping Sprayberry’s diversity alive.
Dr. McMahon is responsible for compiling the list of all the clubs with the day and time that they meet and their sponsor. Key Club and Beta Club are two of the clubs who do not yet have sponsors, but most of the other clubs have identified sponsors. Meeting times and dates have not yet been posted, but as soon as they are, I will post this infomation.

  3. Homecoming week is approaching very quickly! SGA and Leadership always do a lot to prepare for this week and the dance. Homecoming decorating for the dance, halls, and floats is very important.

All clubs are welcome to participate and/or support any of these events. Clubs are welcomed to have their own personal floats in the parade that will take place the Friday before homecoming, October 2, before the game.

  4. All the clubs have started, and they are in action. Most clubs have their members secure, and no one else can join until next year. But, many clubs still allow non club members to help out with certian events and activities they host.

Comunnity service is a big aspect of many clubs, and even if you are not involved in a certian club, I would still advise you to participate in events to get good community service hours. This will only make oyu feel better about yourself, as well as build your resume.

  5. This week, NHS (National Honors Society) is raffling off many different gift cards for places around the area in order to raise money for the Shop with a Yellow Jacket program. Every day during your lunch period you can buy tickets to enter in your chance to win.

If you are in need of a tutor, NHS, SGA, and Leadership students are avialible during every lunch period each day in the ACE center. It is a great oppertunity for students to recieve help in a pressure free zone.

Feel free to let me know or post anymore club information that you would like others to know on this page.
