September 2:
-The marching band’s show is called Crisis.
About 40% is already learned.
Mini camp on September 19.
First competition is in October.
-Concert bands are learning new pieces and sightreading.
There is a teacher in band! He goes around to the students who are in
OSS for extended periods of time and helps them. He takes his lunch and
works later for 90 minutes of playing time in class.

- Compettion season starts in October
- Mini-camp Saturday September 19: 11:00-6:00pm

Also: October 17, Southern Invitational Music Festival
– Band compettion for all the marching bands in the southern region. Dan Martin Award for Music Excellence will also be given.
